The Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society (HPGS) would like to encourage qualified individuals and organizations to submit grant applications to the HPGS Fund Committee for project proposals that address aging issues in the State of Hawaii and the Pacific region.

HPGS is very happy to announce a new scholarship/award program to encourage undergraduate and community college students to pursue careers in gerontology or geriatrics.
The scholarship application has to be postmarked by April 1, 2008. Applications will be reviewed in early April, and announcement of the award will be made in the May HPGS newsletter. Please encourage undergraduate and community college students to apply!
We will be working on a fundraising effort to receive donations for the future with the hope that we will be able to award this scholarship/award annually.
